United handed another major injury blow ahead of Liverpool clash
Manchester United will be missing another key player in addition to Paul Pogba when they visit Liverpool in the Premier League after the international break.
The Red Devils have begun the 2017/18 campaign in remarkable form so far, winning six of their seven opening league games of the new campaign.
However, what could prove to be troublesome for Jose Mourinho’s side is fitness worries with star midfielder Paul Pogba already sidelined.
And ahead of next weekend’s clash with Liverpool, Marouane Fellaini has also picked up a knee problem while representing Belgium in their World Cup qualifier.
The 29-year-old has managed to score four goals for the Red Devils this season, justifying the manager’s decision to not offload him during the summer transfer window.
On Saturday, Fellaini was withdrawn from Belgium’s clash with Bosnia-Herzegovina after only 29 minutes due to a knee injury before later he posted on social media that a scan has indicated he will be “out for a couple of weeks”.
The former Everton star’s absence will be quite a blow for Mourinho who could have utilized him as a key aerial threat against Liverpool’s leaky defence.http://www.fanchesterunited.com/2017/10/united-handed-news-another-major-injury-blow-ahead-liverpool-clash/
