United closing in on deal to sign South American attacker with $48m fee quoted
Jose Mourinho is reportedly moving closer to securing his first new signing of this winter transfer window.
Manchester United are expected to splash the cash this month after falling a huge 15 points behind Manchester City in the Premier League.
And a report by the Sun is claiming that the Red Devils are closing in on a deal to sign Lucas Moura.
The 25-year-old has continued to be linked with an Old Trafford switch and he was reported to have agreed personal terms with United a few days ago.
Mourinho is supposedly desperate to land the winger this winter after missing out on him last summer.
But the current hurdle in the deal is Paris Saint-Germain’s asking price which is $48million or £35.5million.
Reports in Brazil are saying Moura is looking forward to joining the Red Devils and his arrival would see him replace much-maligned attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Mourinho will be eager to see his team make up some ground in the Premier League title race and the best bet would be some reinforcement before the transfer window closes.http://www.fanchesterunited.com/2018/01/united-closing-deal-sign-south-american-attacker-35-5m-fee-quoted/
