Manchester United are reported to be edging closer to the signing of Barcelona defender Yerry Mina.

The Red Devils will be looking to make up for last season’s disappointing title challenge which saw local foes Manchester City become champions with ease.

Adding a new defender to his squad is seemingly a priority for Jose Mourinho this summer and therefore Yerry Mina has emerged as a target.

As per reports from France, the 23-year-old is odds-on to complete a move to Old Trafford and he could be signed by the Red Devils for just €30m.

Mina was a star for Colombia at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, where he managed to score three goals for his country.

Ever since his move to Barcelona, the young defender has seen his playing time significantly decrease and a move to the Premier League could be a big opportunity for him to revive his career on club level.
