After watching how the team snatched a defeat-like draw from the jaws of victory against Leicester City, it was hard to find a Manchester United fan who was not frustrated on Saturday evening.

Jose Mourinho took his side to the King Power stadium, hoping to secure another win away from home after watching Manchester City continue their terrifying winning streak by thrashing Bournemouth 4-0 at the Etihad stadium earlier in the day.

Despite a decent start from the Red Devils, there was an early setback as Jamie Vardy put the hosts 1-0 ahead through a brilliantly worked counter-attack.

But not too long after that goal, Juan Mata, who was handed a rare start, did well to place the ball home to level the score ahead of half-time.

The Spaniard then capped a superb display by curling home a free-kick after the break to put United 2-1 in front before Leicester went down to ten men.

But even with the numerical advantage, several goal-scoring opportunities were squandered by the likes of Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford as the scoreline remained on a knife’s edge heading into injury time.

And after watching the Foxes score an equalizer with virtually the last kick of the game, the trio who had wasted chances at the other end for United were slammed by fans.
