BBC reporter on what Mourinho and Guardiola did in Old Trafford bust-up
It is now clear that the drama on the pitch was taken into the dressing room after Sunday’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho knew his side had to secure some sort of positive result over the weekend after seeing their local rivals take a commanding lead in the table.
And after Marcus Rashford’s equalizer on the stroke of half-time, the Red Devils appeared to be on course for a point or more from the derby.
However, an error from Romelu Lukaku was punished by Otamendi who scored the match’s winning goal early in the second half.
It was a victory for Manchester City which had them jubilating with their fans after the final whistle.
And matters even got uglier for United behind the scenes as a tussle between the two sets of players took place.
