The Red Devils will look to add reinforcements next summer and one of their top targets is expected to be Leicester City star Harry Maguire and Brendan Rodgers has revealed his stance on the saga.

When Jose Mourinho was still in charge of Manchester United, the club chased Leicester City star Harry Maguire. While the Foxes were reluctant to sell one of their best players, they still slapped a £75 million price tag on the center-back, and rejected two bids from the Old Trafford side.

But given how the 26-year-old has improved since then, new Leicester City manager Brendan Rodger has admitted that he is ‘prepared’ for an approach from Manchester United.

The ex-Liverpool manager said: “They may well come in. You always have to be prepared for that moment as a club.

“It happens but at this moment in time, I’m thinking about the team, and making it the best that we can. It doesn’t worry me. I think all you can worry about is that you make the team the very best they can be.”
