United agree to sanction Januzaj’s permanent exit
Jose Mourinho has begun his clear-out of fringe players with just over a month remaining before the start of the new campaign.
The Manchester United manager has been able to bring in two new signings so far with Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku now part of the squad.
And following the departure of club legend Wayne Rooney earlier this week, another forward has said goodbye to the Red Devils.
Adnan Januzaj, who made his first team breakthrough under former United boss David Moyes, was not viewed as a part of Jose Mourinho’s plans for the new campaign.
And the Red Devils have now confirmed that the 22-year-old forward has completed the formalities of a permanent transfer move to Real Sociedad.
Januzaj, who underwent a medical in Spain on Wednesday, spent last season on loan at Sunderland as the Black Cats were relegated from the Premier League.
