‘Did nothing wrong’, ‘Really good’, Certain fans loved one United player against City
There were Manchester United fans who had some praises to give to Mason Greenwood after watching the youngster put in a decent display against Manchester City on Tuesday.
The latter part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s reign has definitely not been easy to enjoy but there have been one or two positives to take.
Manchester United’s current manager has not hesitated to hand certain young players the chance to impress and that has seen Mason Greenwood in particular make a breakthrough so far this campaign.
The teenager still has a long way to go of course, but the early signs of his potential have been delightful to watch and even in defeat on Tuesday night, he managed to cover himself in some glory.
With the Red Devils trailing Manchester City by three goals in the second half of the game, Greenwood played a part in keeping his side alive as he set up Marcus Rashford’s goal.
Greenwood did nothing wrong today. he misplaced like 2 passes. constantly moving into space, bagged an assist, constantly givin quick 1-2s. how is he rewarded? he gets taken off whilst periera gets to remain on the pitch. ole is generational

If there are any positives tonight for Man United, it's knowing that goal was the effort of three academy products: Angel Gomes, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford.

I don’t understand why Greenwood is playing like a 27y/o and lingard is playing like a 18y/o pic.twitter.com/5J0HGpIOJp

Maguire was a big miss tonight and i think Matic should have started in beside Fred. #MUFC
