The father of Manchester United target  Sergej Milinković-Savić does not believe the Red Devils are the ideal team for his son to join this summer, according to reports in Italy.

Sergej Milinković-Savić has been one of the most sought-after players in Europe this summer and he has strong interest from the likes of Juventus and Manchester United.

However, Calcio Mercato reports that the midfielder’s father believes a move to Juventus is best for his son as he hails the Old Lady as the ideal club for him.

Born in Spain, Milinkovic-Savic, who is rated at $199million (£150million), is starring for the Serbia at the World Cup following a breakout season in the Serie A with Lazio.

He played 35 times and scored 12 goals for the Rome-based and those performances has made that season potentially his finally at the Stadio Olimpico.
