Marouane Fellaini has revealed what the trust of Jose Mourinho has meant to him this season.

Despite being a much-maligned figure, the Manchester United boss has kept Fellaini in his team for much of this campaign across all competitions.

And after helping the Red Devils win the Europa League on Wednesday, the Belgium international has acknowledged the impact of Mourinho on a personal level.

According to Fellaini, he does not mind taking orders from the Portuguese tactician even when he is not fully fit.

“Even when I’m in pain, I play.” he said

“When I feel that people trust me, I’m prepared to do everything.

“If I have to break my foot for him (Mourinho), I’ll do it. That’s me.”

The midfielder moved to Old Trafford from Everton almost four years ago as a signing by David Moyes.

But his career at United has not always been enjoyable, having received serious criticism from fans.
