In a candid interview, Manchester United star Jesse Lingard has revealed the player he would like to see at Old Trafford eventually.

The Englishman, who received mixed reviews from fans for his performances last season, recently put pen to paper on a new contract at the club.

Romelu Lukaku’s arrival has already added another attacking option to Mourinho’s squad, effectively jeopardizing Lingard’s chances of being given a starting place in the team.

However, the 24-year-old appears to be keen on the idea of United bringing in more marquee signings to help challenge for the Premier League title.

When asked about which player he wishes the Red Devils would sign, Lingard picked out Atletico Madrid’s star man.

“I would like to see Antoine Griezmann.” he said.

Of course, the France international was frequently linked with a move to Old Trafford until the transfer saga lost momentum recently.

“I’m hoping so [that he joins]. He scores a lot of goals and is very creative.” Lingard added
