Even though Romelu Lukaku has only been a Manchester United player for less than three months, questions have been raised by some over his future.

The 24-year-old was linked with a return to his old club Chelsea at the beginning of the summer.

However, Lukaku rather opted for a move to Old Trafford as United secured his services in a £75 million deal in June.

The striker has been in sublime form for the Red Devils so far this season, scoring in every game he has played in except last weekend’s 2-0 victory over Leicester City.

And after another prolific performance for Belgium in midweek, questions have been raised over whether there is actually a release clause in his contract which could tempt a future departure.

Thus, Lukaku has moved to confirm there is no such thing in his United deal.

“I don’t have one, but I’m very happy. I hope I stay there for a very long time”. the Belgian was quoted as saying by Manchester Evening News

“I’m not going to leave. I’m happy over there. Manchester United is a big club”.
