Manchester United have confirmed that a deal has been agreed to sign gifted American midfielder Will Vint.

The Red Devils have a proud tradition of giving the youth a chance and over recent years, the rise of players like Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford have proven to be the reward for that philosophy.

Only 12 months ago, Vill was invited to undergo a trial at United, while the likes of Fulham and Everton tested his potential as well.

After being offered a move to United, the 16-year-old has chosen to join the Red Devils, who will include the midfielder in their Under-18 squad next year.

Vint was a member of the squad which flew out to Austria for a pre-season training camp over the weekend.

The young midfielder, who previously spent time at the Real Colorado football organization, will now be on the books of one of the biggest clubs in the world.
