The Red Devils have managed to secure the addition of another bright prospect to bolster the club’s talent pool ahead of the new campaign.

While Jose Mourinho has been taking care of high-profile deals for the first team with the acquisitions of Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof, the club’s scouts have been put to work as well.

And the signing of Espanyol wonderkid Arnau Puigmal has now been secured following months of tracking the promising youngster.

The Red Devils were first linked with a move for the teenager towards the end of last season and the switch has finally been completed as of this weekend.

Pugimal’s transfer switch was broken by SPORT journalist Albert Rogé who is claiming the midfielder has signed a four-year deal with the Red Devils

The Spaniard has been dubbed as ‘the star of Espanyol’s academy’, having caught the attention of several big clubs around Europe.

Scout assessments are indicating that Pugimal is a player with similar attributes to Ander Herrera as he prefers to feature in central midfield where his versatility is appreciated.
