The agent of Anthony Martial has effectively asked Jose Mourinho to permit a transfer move for the striker after confirming that his client is not enjoying life at Old Trafford by any means.

Martial moved to the club back in the summer of 2015 and he finished his first season at United as top scorer under Louis van Gaal.

But only two years after his move, the striker, – an $87,000-a-week star – has dramatically fallen down the pecking order with Jose Mourinho in charge.

Therefore, Philippe Lamboley, who is the Frenchman’s agent, has confirmed that Martial is looking to agree a United transfer move away from the club this summer.

“After thinking about all the possibilities and scenarios, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United.” said Lamboley

“There are many parameters, for now it’s premature to talk about it. Anthony will speak later to discuss all of this…”

Even with all of that said, Mourinho and the Red Devils have maintained that the striker is not for sale but the latest comments from Martial’s agent has given the club a clear signal that the player wants to be sold.
