Jose Mourinho has given his thoughts how he expects his squad to deal with the absence of key midfielder Paul Pogba.

The Red Devils are preparing for a trip to Southampton this weekend after managing to return to winning ways in the Premier League with a 4-0 victory over Everton last Sunday.

United also thrashed Burton in the League Cup in midweek to maintain their promising run in all competitions.

However, Mourinho’s side will continue to be without Paul Pogba who suffered a hamstring problem in last week’s Champions League clash with Basel.

The France international had been one of United’s shining stars of the 2017/18 season so far before his injury.

Even so, Mourinho insists he is not too worried about how long his team will be missing Pogba.

“I have no idea when he [Pogba] will be back, no idea, but again, this is a great opportunity for other players to play and I trust them all,” said Mourinho

“I’m not going to cry or be counting the days until Pogba comes back. When he comes back, welcome, but until then I trust my people.”
