Anthony Martial has now been given the go-ahead to leave Manchester United but that will strictly depend on the type of offer received from his suitors.

The Frenchman was snubbed for the World Cup after seeing his playing time reduced, following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez.

Martial has asked to leave the club with his agent recently telling reporters that his client wishes to play elsewhere next season.

Manchester United are desperate to keep hold of Martial, but they have now decided he can leave if an offer of $132.7million (£100million) is made, according to the Sun.

That fee may force teams interested in the striker to look elsewhere, however, Martial’s major suitor is Tottenham, who may propose a swap deal should Manchester United continue their interest in signing Toby Alderweireld.

Mourinho still cannot offer Martial assurances ahead of the new season, and a good showing by Marcus Rashford at the World Cup could see the Englishman stay ahead of him in the pecking order.
