Pereira and Rashford start – How United should line up against Brighton
Romelu Lukaku could return to the Manchester United team after beginning the club’s opening game of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign on the bench.
World Cup stars Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic and Antonio Valencia are all back in training but they are not expected to be considered for selection by Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho just yet.
Since Valencia will remain out of action, Paul Pogba, who managed to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France, will continue as captain.
Mourinho will be eager to see his side add to last week’s win over Leicester City by seeing off Brighton on Sunday.
Even at this early stage of the season, the Red Devils are aware that dropping points could prove to be very decisive in the race for the Premier League title, especially after Chelsea’s win on Saturday.
Predicted team :
De Gea
Darmian – Bailly – Lindelof – Shaw
Fred – Pereira – Pogba
Rashford – Lukaku – Mata
