According to Sky Sports Premier League expert Charlie Nicholas, Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez will end his miserable tenure at the club, before the end of the summer window.

The Chilean arrived a little over a year ago from Arsenal, in a swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan go the other way. But despite playing well for Arsenal, the former Barcelona star has struggled since his move.

The 30-year-old has played 41 games for the Red Devils, contributing to only 14 goals since then with just 6 coming this season. That has led Nicholas to state that Sanchez will look towards moving on, in an interview with Sky Sports.

He further added “I think they’re running down the clock with Sanchez. I think he’ll be gone in the summer – that’s the reality.” he said

“They’ll look at things and say ‘what have you done? Not very much’, and he gets injured a lot these days. They can sell him, get some money, get him off the wage bill and they can get somebody else in. It might even be a younger version.”
