Sanchez and Lingard start: Man United predicted XI vs Tottenham
Last weekend’s trip to Brighton showed that there is quite a lot of work to be done if this team is to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
The defending was the main concern and with our two centre-backs on the day looking bemused and unprepared, you would have to wonder whether Jose Mourinho is planning on making yet another change to his back-line.
Personally, I believe stability is key in any team, whether that said team is in good or bad form, and perhaps Jose should retain his faith in most of the players from last week and see how well they respond.
Our record in big games under Mourinho gives me enough confidence to not be completely nervous about this match-up, especially when Spurs have an awful record at Old Trafford.
For the line-up, I would like to see something like this:
De Gea;
Young – Smalling – Lindelof -Shaw;
Matic – Fred – Pogba;
Lingard – Lukaku – Sanchez
