‘Shaw pocketing Messi?’ – Some fans react to United’s UCL draw
Manchester United’s spectacular comeback against Paris Saint-Germain saw them qualify for the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The Red Devils have a massive tie on their hands now as they were drawn against La Liga giants Barcelona.
Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side will host Barcelona on the 9th of April in the first leg before traveling to the Camp Nou a week later on the 16th.
The pair have had a number of memorable games in the past having faced each other on 11 occasions over the years.
However, Manchester United have only won 3 games against the Catalans while drawing 4.
The last time that the 2 teams met was in the 2011 Champions League final at Wembley. Goals from Lionel Messi, David Villa and Pedro sealed a 3-1 win for Barcelona as they were named the champions of Europe.
A victory would mean a mouth-watering semi-final clash against archrivals Liverpool and that should act as enough motivation for Solksjaer and his men.
Here’s how fans reacted on Twitter after the tough draw:

Roll on matchday! I was confident that we would progress no matter who we were drawn against, that certainly hasn’t changed ? #MUFC Ole’s at the wheel!
