Manchester United are bound to shop for a midfielder in the summer transfer window, after the departure of Marouane Fellaini just over two months ago.

As per a report by the Daily Star, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has asked for Manchester United to secure the signing of Adrien Rabiot to strengthen the squad.

The signing of Fred from last summer has proven to be a move which has not paid off completely with the Brazilian failing to maintain a spot in the first team.

Rabiot is also being sort after by other clubs including Barcelona but a move to the Premier League could be very attractive after his fall-out with the coaching staff at PSG.

Solksjaer has reportedly told Ed Woodward to make a move to land the signing of the 23-year-old, who is capable of playing as a fine box-to-box midfielder.

PSG are expected sell to the highest bidder with the midfielder seeking a way out of the club this summer.
