Solskjaer has told United to push through deal for 26-year-old star
Caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might just be preparing for life as the new permanent manager of the team after taking over from Jose Mourinho in early December last year.
As per an exclusive report by the Daily Star, the United boss has told the club’s top official Ed Woodward to push through a deal to sign Harry Maguire in the summer.
The 26-year-old is a player who was strongly chased by Jose Mourinho last year and his failure to land him resulted in a dispute with the club’s hierarchy which saw United make a horrible start to the season.
This time, Solksjaer is believed to have told the club to secure a deal which could be worth as much as £65 million for the defender.
Maguire is a player who possesses Premier League experience of course and that is a very important factor when shopping for a centre-back to bolster the squad.
