Solskjaer reveals the United star who impressed him the most against Reading
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed Matteo Darmian was the man who caught his eye in the win over Reading in the FA Cup.
United have been simply superb under their new temporary manager, having won all four of their Premier League games ever since the departure of Jose Mourinho.
Critics have maintained that the Red Devils’ fine form is only because of the so-called low quality of teams who we have faced.
But those were the same pundits who were lambasting our players when they were not beating the ‘poor’ teams under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho.
On Saturday, United extended their fantastic winning run as they saw off Reading 2-0 in the FA Cup despite not having to be at their true best at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer had another chance to see his boys in action ahead of the big game against Tottenham next week and it was indeed Matteo Darmian who really impressed the boss on the day.
