Manchester United fans have rediscovered their love for Romelu Lukaku after a string of impressive performances under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Jose Mourinho’s final six months at Manchester United saw quite a few players struggle and more so get linked with moves away. From Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, to Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku…but that was all before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over.
Somehow, the former Manchester United striker has managed to inject hope, happiness and more so great performances back into the team.
Just like that, he has rejuvenated the likes of Pogba, Martial, Rashford, Lingard and even Ander Herrera. However, players who had struggled with Solskjaer’s appointment included Romelu Lukaku, with the 25-year-old’s abilities not suited towards the new manager’s style of play.
But injuries have allowed the Belgian striker a chance to shine recently and he has taken them.
With four goals in his last two appearances, Lukaku has surged past Didier Drogba in the all-time top scorers list and is at the moment, Manchester United’s top scorer in the Premier League.
