United agree terms to sign 25-year-old, £35m fee discussed
Manchester United are yet to make a signing during the January transfer window but that could soon change.
Following back-to-back victories in all competitions against Everton and Derby County in the Premier League and FA Cup respectively, confidence is back on the Red Devils’ side.
Even so, Mourinho has not ruled out the possibility of him signing a new player to shore up the squad this month.
And as per a report by Gazzetta dello Sport, United have agreed personal terms with Lucas Moura over a transfer move to Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old has fallen out of favour at Paris Saint-Germain, largely due to the arrival of Neymar and of course the availability of fellow attackers Angel di Maria and Julian Draxler’s.
United and the French club have remained locked in negotiations as they aim to reach an agreement over the fee for the winger.
Paris Saint-Germain are reported to be seeking a sum of £35million for Moura, who has only played 72 minutes of football in Ligue 1 this season.
