Manchester United have a decision to make about the possible signing of Federico Chiesa after Fiorentina named their asking price for the Italy international.

Chiesa enjoyed a break-through season during last year and his performances for Fiorentina earned him a couple of Italian caps in the latest round of international games.

Indeed, the 20-year-old won the penalty that helped Italy salvage a 1-1 draw in their clash against England in March.

Reports say Fiorentina have named the amount they are willing to accept for the sale of Chiesa and their asking price is a staggering $82.9 million (£62 million).

Manchester United are leading the race for the young attacker’s signature, even though the likes of Liverpool and Juventus have not hidden their interest.

Mourinho’s priority is bringing in a capable back-up for players like Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku with Chiesa being adept at playing either as a winger or behind the main striker.
