After almost a decade at Manchester United, Antonio Valencia is on his way out of Old Trafford as the Ecuadorian looks set to call time on his Red Devils career.

Valencia has been out of United’s first team for much of this season as a combination of injuries and a falling out with Jose Mourinho has seen him fall down the pecking order.

As per a report by Daily Star, his representatives are already negotiating a transfer with Inter Milan and the Italians are hoping to complete a move to sign him this month.

Manchester United may attempt to delay the defender’s exit, but he can sign a pre-contract with any club this month and the Red Devils have no option but to allow him to speak to other clubs.

Valencia is unlikely to be offered a new contract at Old Trafford and his emotional departure from the club he joined from Wigan in 2009, is now on course to happen.
