Manchester United have seen a sizeable offer to sign Brazilian star Willian accepted by Chelsea, as per reports.

The Red Devils are currently on their pre-season tour as Jose Mourinho looks to prepare his squad further for a potential title challenge next season.

In the mean time, United have been keeping tabs on Willian for much of this summer with a view of making a move to sign him.

New reports claim the Red Devils have made an offer of $83.7million (€75million) which has actually been accepted by Chelsea.

The Brazilian international was the man who opened the scoring in Chelsea’s defeat to United at Old Trafford in the league last season.

Mourinho presumably has a friendly relationship with Willian whom he brought to England during his time at Stamford Bridge.

The form of January signing Alexis Sanchez during the second half of last season has forced the club to pursue more attacking options.
