Manchester United have been quoted an increased price by Inter Milan over the possible signing of Ivan Perisic this summer.

The 29-year-old looked like a player who was on his way to Old Trafford for much of last summer but he somehow ended up staying in the Serie A for another year.

Perisic displayed his ability to all suitors at yet another major tournament as his efforts helped Croatia reach the final of the World Cup, where they lost 4-2 to France last Sunday.

United are expected to resume their pursuit of the attacker and as per a report by Metro, Inter Milan have quoted an increased fee of $81.6million (€70million) for the Red Devils to pay if they are to sign Perisic.

The underwhelming form of January transfer window signing Alexis Sanchez means Jose Mourinho has remained unhappy with the options available to him in attacking midfield ahead of next season.
