United willing to agree mega $318m deal to sign 26-year-old star
Manchester United are reportedly willing to make a big statement in the transfer window by beating Real Madrid to the signature of Neymar this summer.
The 26-year-old, who joined PSG for a world record fee last summer, was reportedly bored at the level of the French top flight along with the criticism he received during his injury lay-off at the end of last season.
Thus, a report by the Daily Star claims the Red Devils are ready to tempt PSG with a mega offer of $318 million (£240 million) plus Anthony Martial for the signing of the Brazilian star.
Neymar has been linked with a move back to Spain with reports claiming he is being chased by Real Madrid while former club Barcelona remain interested in a deal as well.
PSG have their own financial concerns after last summer’s business which also saw them sign Kylian Mbappe, and therefore the Red Devils may be hopeful of a big-money offer being accepted.
However, if the rumours of this potential transfer bid is true, not all United fans may be pleased to hear the club is offloading a talent like Martial for free while PSG receives a huge sum on top of that.
