United suffer blow in chase to sign 21-year-old midfielder
Manchester United may miss out on the services of Bournemouth star David Brooks who looks on course to extend his stay at the Vitality stadium.
The Sun have reported that Bournemouth are set to offer Brooks a new deal in their bid to avoid losing him to suitors Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur who are also chasing the youngster.
The Welshman has been impressive since joining the Cherries in the summer transfer window and he is rumoured to have attracted the interest of Manchester United along with other big clubs in the English top flight.
A new deal would see him more than double his wages at the Vitality stadium and Bournemouth reportedly believe that would be enough for him to snub a move to Old Trafford.
United were rumoured to be chasing the former Manchester City youth player whom Bournmeouth could make a considerable profit on if they were to sell.
