Agent contacted to agree personal terms as United target nears move
Manchester United are facing a major hurdle in their quest to sign CSKA Moscow star Aleksandr Golovin as Juventus plot to steal a march on them.
Golovin starred for Russia in the opening game of the World Cup on Thursday, helping himself to a goal and two assists. That display is said to have prompted the Old Ladies to move fast to secure his signature.
The Sun are reporting that the Italian champions have contacted the agent of the 22-year-old in order to agree personal teams.
The attacker was asked about the interest from Juventus at the end of the match and he admitted to being flattered by the rumours, even though he is solely focused on having a good World Cup at the moment.
Mourinho, who is working as a pundit at the World Cup, was full of praise for the Russian after the game against Saudi Arabia.
