Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has taken to Twitter to express his delight after Tuesday’s Champions League affair.
The Red Devils spent last season outside of Europe’s elite club competition after failing to finish in the top four during Louis van Gaal’s final campaign.
Last term’s Europa League success has seen Manchester United secure a much-anticipated return to the Champions League.
And on Tuesday night, Jose Mourinho’s men opened their campaign in Europe by comfortably defeating Basel 3-0 at Old Trafford.
And after helping his side keep a clean sheet against the Swiss side, De Gea took to Twitter to express his delight.
