United thrashed Fulham 3-0 on the road on Saturday afternoon to claim a place in the top four of the Premier League for the first time since the very start of the season.

Mourinho once said – in the middle of the United crisis – that he expected the team to return to the top four of the league by the new year.

And Gary Lineker brilliantly reminded him of that statement after United’s win on Saturday.
