Manchester United have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches this summer.

The Red Devils have been linked with a move for a host of players following the arrivals of Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku.

Jose Mourinho has already admitted that he would like to add one more midfielder to his squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.

And Sanches has been identified as one of the United manager’s main targets for a possible third summer signing.

Speaking on the situation of the 19-year-old who is priced at $56 million by Bayern, the German side’s boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that ‘a move could be a possibility’.

“At this time, he’s training with us. We have to make a decision.” he said

“A move could be a possibility but there is also a chance he could stay with us for the season.”

Mourinho is also rumoured to be considering the signing of Chelsea star Nemanja Matic whom he brought back to England three years ago.
