Manchester United have been handed more negative news on the injury front during the current international break.

The Red Devils have managed to stay in touch with league leaders Manchester City at the top of the table after winning six of their opening seven games.

Apart from the 2-2 draw at Stoke City, Mourinho’s men have hardly had any hiccups in the Premier League but injuries to key players may be their new concern now.

Paul Pogba, who last featured in the Champions League clash with Basel, has been sidelined with a troublesome hamstring injury.

According to the Sun, the problem has persisted and as a result, he could be out for eight more weeks (two months).

Pogba had been one of United’s shining stars prior to his injury and the lengthiness of his absence will now be worrying.

The 24-year-old’s severe hamstring problem could see him miss important fixtures against Tottenham and Chelsea before Christmas.
