Several fans of the Red Devils have expressed their frustration on social media following the defeat to Chelsea on Sunday.

Manchester United went into the trip to Stamford Bridge having fallen five points behind league leaders Manchester City following a draw at Liverpool and a 2-1 loss against Huddersfield.

And despite a more attacking-minded display from Jose Mourinho’s men, a header from Alvaro Morata in the second half saw the Red Devils succumb to another defeat which now leaves them eight points behind Pep Guardiola’s high-flying side.

The match saw Phil Jones feature for 62 minutes before being replaced by Marouane Fellaini as United chased an equalizing goal.

It was certainly a night to forget for the English centre-back whose own-goal was fortunately ruled out by the referee in the first half.

And the fans were definitely not afraid to air their views about him on Twitter.
