Manchester United caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that the Red Devil’s attack will certainly be short of two key players for the trip to Chelsea in the FA Cup.

United were beaten by Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the round of 16 tie in the Champions League on Tuesday as the away side scored two quick-fire goals in the second half to take a major advantage ahead of the second leg.

Solskjaer was hit with a couple of injury blows in that game as the likes of Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard were forced off the pitch by injuries.

The duo have been very key to the side in United’s resurgence after the sacking of Jose Mourinho in early December.

But Solskjaer has confirmed before the trip to Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup that the two stars will not be able to play because of the injuries they sustained on Tuesday.

“I think they will be out for two to three weeks looking at it now,” Solskjaer said in his press conference ahead of the FA Cup fifth-round tie with Chelsea.
