Manchester United are still confident of landing the signing of Borussia Dortmund hot-shot attacker Jadon Sancho this summer, as per the Evening Standard.

The former Manchester City youngster has really risen to prominence this season, after not experiencing much first team football during his early years in England.

Solksjaer is expected to put pressure on the club to secure attacking additions if or when he is appointed as the man to permanently replace Jose Mourinho after this season is over.

United are reported to be confident of securing a deal to sign Sancho, who has been included in the England national team for the current international break.

Dortmund have remained adamant that the young attacker will not be sold to anyone this summer but the report does state that an offer of over $106m will be enough to seal a deal.

If United are successful in bringing Sancho to Old Trafford, fierce rivals Manchester City are bound to be left feeling very bitter about the move.
