Manchester United have been given the greenlight to sign Juventus star Alex Sandro after being told it would not cost too much to sign the defender.

The Red Devils finished second in the Premier League last season, partly due to inadequate options in areas like left-back where Luke Shaw was kept on the bench by Ashley Young once again.

Jose Mourinho will be interested in changing things for the better before the start of the new season and therefore, Alex Sandro has been linked with an Old Trafford switch.

As per a report by Tuttosport, Juventus have said they are willing to accept an offer of at least $41million (€35million) to sell the Brazilian defender to Mourinho’s side.

Sandro was heavily tipped to join the Red Devils towards the end of last season with some even claiming that he would move to Manchester United after the FA Cup final against Chelsea.
