United holding talks for deal to sign $584.5m star, Ed Woodward in discussion
Manchester United are pursuing the possible addition of one more midfielder and that man may well be Real Madrid star Toni Kroos.
Jose Mourinho completed the signing of Brazilian star Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk only a couple of days ago before Marouane Fellaini somehow made a U-turn to sign a new contract at the club.
But if the Red Devils are to really challenge champions Manchester City for the Premier League title next year, more new faces may be needed to bolster the squad.
Manchester Evening News are reporting that United have held talks over a move to sign Toni Kroos this summer.
Mourinho is said to have spoken with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to discuss the possibility of signing the Real Madrid midfielder.
But if United are really to make a move to sign the 28-year-old, it would take a sum of $584.5million to trigger Kroos’ big release clause at the Bernabeu.
