United looking to agree transfer of 25-year-old attacker this month, deal could later cost £40m
Manchester United are rumoured to be pursuing a loan deal for Brazilian international attacker Lucas Moura, according to a report by The Sun.
Jose Mourinho’s side, who did well to beat Everton 2-0 at Goodison Park three days ago, have frequently been linked with a move for several attacking midielders over the past couple of months.
Lucas Moura has racked up 36 caps for the Brazilian national team but he has only netted one goal and registered one assist in only six appearances in all competitions for Paris Saint-Germain so far this season.
The 25-year-old, who moved to France during the summer of 2012 in a £38m transfer from Sao Paulo, has scored 46 goals in 229 games during his career at the French giants.
But after failing to be handed much playing time this season, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is interested in signing Moura on loan this month with the view of a permanent deal which could be worth around £40m in the summer.
