United readying move to agree new deal with 30-year-old playmaker
Manchester United are planning to offer a new deal to midfielder Juan Mata to retain the Spaniard at Old Trafford for another season at least.
The 30-year-old was brought to the club by David Moyes during the January transfer window in 2014.
With United’s midfield often short of creativity, Mata has remained vital player in the squad, due to the unique quality which he has to offer.
Metro are reporting that the Red Devils planning to offer the former Chelsea star a new contract for him to extend his stay at the club.
Mata, a $184,000-a-week star, was once again not entirely a regular part of the United starting eleven last season but he was able to make a difference from the bench when called upon.
Metro are claiming the club plans to sit down with Mata and his father when the team returns from the pre-season tour of the United States to discuss a new deal.https://www.fanchesterunited.com/united-set-for-move-to-agree-new-deal-with-30-year-old-playmaker/
