United star is on course to sign new contract after change of heart
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is reported to have made it clear to the club that he wants to extend his contact at Old Trafford, as per the Mirror.
The Spanish shot-stopper has become arguably the most indispensable member of the United squad after establishing himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
De Gea was rumoured to be reluctant about extending his contract at the club while Jose Mourinho was still in charge of the team.
But with the Portuguese manager now gone, the Spaniard is reportedly interested in signing a new contract to spend even more years at Old Trafford.
The club has already triggered an option in De Gea’s deal to make sure he does not leave this summer but the news that he is actually keen on staying beyond the expiration of his current deal is nothing short of a big boost for the club.
De Gea was the only difference between the two sides on Sunday as his incredible display saw the Red Devils keep a cleansheet to beat Tottenham 1-0.https://www.fanchesterunited.com/united-star-is-on-course-to-sign-new-contract-after-change-of-heart/
