United willing to let go of 25-year-old for potentially high-profile deal
Manchester United are reported to be willing to let go of star midfielder Paul Pogba in what would be an exchange deal with Juventus for Douglas Costa, as per Tuttosport.
Under Jose Mourinho, Pogba was frequently rumoured to be looking for a move out of the club following a rift with the former United boss.
The 25-year-old has dramatically turned around his form on the pitch after the exit of Mourinho but it looks as though the club might still consider a departure for him.
Tuttosport are reporting that United are willing to agree a deal which would see Pogba join Juventus while Douglas Costa moves to the Premier League.
The Serie A side are believed to be actively pursuing United’s star man and the Red Devils have insisted that a deal can happen if Costa is part of it.
This is a potentially high-profile swap deal and if it was to go through, the Red Devils would lose a World Cup winner even though they would also gain quite a talent in the Brazilian attacker.
